The way we like to think about the production process is similar to building a house.

You wouldn't order a concrete truck to start pouring cement in the general "area" of where you wanted a house would you? Of course you may eventually get a house built, but it probably wouldn't look like anything you had in mind, and it would certainly cost you more than if you had a detailed blueprint or plan.

Yet, in video terms, this is exactly how some video production companies and their client's waste their money on many productions! They begin shooting, or editing, sometimes without a script, or shooting plan.

"We'll keep shooting until we get it", or "We'll fix it in editing", or "This is the style of film making we do", or " You can't rush art", are the hallmarks of money wasters and a sure sign the concrete truck is coming to your property to begin pouring! We've broken the process into the categories of Pre-production, Production, Post Production, and Other. When you have completed all of the modules you can then send it to us for feed back, or print it directly and proceed with producing your video.
