3. What about providing no-cost extras? Unlimited use of a dynamic music library that is copyright-cleared, stock footage, no-cost animation sequences, and a diverse library of clipart and fonts should be provided to you without additional expense.  Make sure you don’t get overcharged for things like “encoding”, “up converting from SD to HD”, and a myriad of “extras” that some companies will try and add on.

4. Do they have experienced In-House Personnel? By having on-staff qualified technicians, you’ll be assured of technical accuracy and reduced cost. By having personnel and facilities on demand, there’s no need to add unnecessary mark-ups. The result is a reduced cost to you. Whether you’re an experienced hand or new to video production, you’ll want to work with the best technicians, writers, and producers available.

5. What is their area of Specialization? Your selection for a video production company should specialize in the type of video material that you require. For example, you may need a safety, training, orientation or demonstration video. Other clients may require retail television advertising or infomercials. Other possibilities may include videos for marketing, sales, or education, and you may choose to use a dramatic or non-dramatic format.
